Meet the instructor

Dr. Hasan Aktarakci

Senior Geophysicist and Regional Manager, Advanced Geosciences Europe SL
Hasan began his career in applied geophysics over four decades ago, with early work focused onelectrical resistivity and IP methods for groundwater and mineral exploration. His academic path led to a Ph.D. in Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, where he also contributed to teaching and research in subsurface imaging. Over the years, he has held senior roles in both academia and industry, conducting geophysical surveys across varied terrains for environmental, archaeological, geotechnical, and mining applications.
At AGI, Hasan manages operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He leads new system implementations, provides advanced technical support and training, and collaborates with the R&D team to evolve both hardware and software solutions. His work bridges field expertise with a strong focus on practical application and client success.
